Everytime Imake a call I ear a noise as opening a Coke Can.
Anybody as some ideas?
Have I to give it back?
Fabio
Across the forums and there are other people with same complain. I thing that is a firmware failure, for now, off all E90 devices:frown:
sapienzaf 16-07-2007, 09:36 AM :o Thanks for your suggestion.
Is ashemful for a device of 899 euro but at least I know I should not start a war with Nokia to replace it. :-))
Bye

Nara-e-Mastana 29-07-2007, 09:23 AM Has anyone found the solution for this? I am also having the same noice while making a phone call...
How did you guys fix your devices?
Please advice.....Thanks in advance.
Nara-e-Mastana 01-08-2007, 11:20 AM Ok, I did an experiment.
The moment we make a call, we start hearing a loud "SsssHhhhhh" sound.....correct?
What I did is...
I make a call and the moment I start hearing "SsssHhhhhh" sound....I press right button of "4 way Navigation Key" to increase the volume and the "SsssHhhhhh" sound disappears and no more distortion during the call...
It is working for me....you guy try and let me know....

jmvdinis 22-08-2007, 01:23 PM My E90, from the end of July, do not make any "shhh" noise... I think, or at least it is not laud enough to bored me..
davidthornton 23-08-2007, 10:05 AM I got my E90 this morning and it also makes the sound like a coke can being opened. It's kind of funny, in an expensive way. Hopefully it'll be fixed!

Can I ask where did u buy ur e90 from? Coz Vodafone have admitted to "some problems" with the phone and are waiting for a "new batch" with the required "rectifications"....this is what I ve been told by Vodafone Edinburgh. Phones4u had 2 in stock, but I thought Ill just wait for the vodafone ones to come out, to be safe...

SIM free from Handtec.
Mind_Rx 23-08-2007, 11:27 PM SIM free from Handtec.
I really hope you get this sorted either with Handtec or Nokia. The Vodafone guys told me that the delay in their stock refreshing is down to Nokia to supply them with "new batch" with issues that plagued some of the earlier phones, fixed. I don't know how much of this is true but it kinda makes sense now.
Mind_Rx 26-08-2007, 05:00 PM came across this in the register dot co dot uk, thought it may be useful
E90 production 'halted - will restart'

Production of Nokia's troubled E90 "Communicator" has been halted, the company has confirmed to Dutch trade paper Telecom.
The device has been plagued by small production problems, but one rather larger design problem. Early adopters, some of whom have paid over $1,000 for the latest incarnation of the "brick", have complained about dust getting behind the fascia, and uneven feet (that's the phone's rubber feet, rather than their own).
Nokia says a microphone glitch is responsible for this delay, however, and that production will soon be back up and running.
Fixing such minor mechanical issues should be trivial for Nokia's fabled engineers, but the bigger problem is that the company has alienated much of the core business market that made the Communicator a profitable niche.
TheSpecialBoy 27-08-2007, 01:15 PM I am waiting for Nokia e 90 recall if this is true that they will repair all the problems (Including series 80 operating software :D)
