Hi,

Just bought a 6120 sim free and have a couple of problems.

1-The phone won't accept .sis applications but will accept .jar

2-The #silent profile button does not put it into or out of this profile.

I've done a factory reset with no luck.

Any suggestions?

maybe a new frimware..... the last one is 3.83

Are you sure they are S60 v3 applications which you are trying to install? Which ones have you tried, how are you installing them, and what's the exact error you get?
