I bought Nokia E90 for 2 weeks. My Firmware Version is 7.40
I did try to use the GPS but it does not work.
When i open the maps, and find my GPS position, just a square box appears on a blank screen, no maps, no roads but the square box does move when i move. I don't get it. I did purchase the US Navigation Nokia supported and i thought it might help but nothing changed.
And when i search for address, I fill in exact address but i said No results found, I tries with many addresses, I don't know why.
I thought the GPS would work like TomTom or something.
Now i'm so disapointed. Some one please help me to figure out this. Thanks a lot.

your phone does not come with a map pre-installed.

you will need to download the nokia map loader application, and download through this application (on your pc) the files, which in turn puts them on your memory card.

Nokia maps can take a while to download the information on the fly. It seems to download top level data first, then on the area you are zoomed into. Try connecting it to your home Wifi, and leaving it on your desk for 20 minutes, it might download some information.

Alternatively, just use google maps (goto google.co.uk and search for GMM , and click the link on your phone).
