I have been told that an E90 cannot take an 8 gig micro SD card - 4 Gb max. Is this true and/or is there a workaround?

If it supports 4GB cards, it has a SDHC-compliant card reader so you should be able to use cards up to 32 GB some day. Currently, the largest SDHC card available is 8 GB.

Yes it does..I've been using a Sandisk 8gb microsd for over a week now without problems.

There are reports of 16 GB cards working with the E90...so yeah :)
