I made use of the NSU to rewrite the product code of my N82 from (NIger)054984 to Euro-1 (0549174) . It wrote it all okay - now when i want to update; neither 'it' nor the NSS detects it. It just says "It can retrieve information from the phone".

I've reinstalled both NSU and NSS , and have also hardformatted my phone and retried -- the problem still persists.

Anyone with solution ideas?

Are you sure that NSS support N82? Could be that the problem...

nss does work, ive changed my product code to euro 1 and yesterday installed the new software update.

warning though my old version of nss did not detect the phone, you need to go to the b-phreaks site, full address not known and freely download the beta version its is called v1.0.38.12

there seems to b a problem with Nemesis service suite v1.0.38.12 when the latest Nokia software updater and Nokia Pc suite is installed whats the solution for this?

I found the same; NSS doesn't work with the latest nokia USB cable drivers. So you have to uninstall the drivers (they should be listed in add/remove programs in control panel) and then re-install the updater from your original driver CD. Worked for me!
