On my 9500 I selected things using the initial letter. Is this possible on the E90 or am I stuck with the scroll key?

Yes it's possible, but not in every app. In the contacts, galery working.

Try SkyeQuiKey. It has some quirks but it's still a fantastic product.

Handy Taskman can do it too. Strangely, it works for all programs except those beginning with "M". Very weird bug.

Thanks for suggestion. It has been working for a week without problems. the Skyequikey people claimed their "hints" fix it for the E90 but they don't and they aren't saying what they are doing about it or rather they aren't bothering to reply to me email.
