if the phone tells u: startup failed, please contact your dealer use this method to reset:

while phone is switched off, press * and 3 and green button, keep pressed, switch on the phone an wait for the PIN to enter

works also on other symbian devices by Nokia, eg. n93.

well, that doesn't work for me :mad:
I switched my e51 off this morning, then later i wanted to turn it on, and i only got a small vibration (like normal), the backlight goes on, and after a few seconds it's turned off! ARGH
Hard reset doesn't seems to work, any other suggestion, or i just have to go back to t-mobile?

this behavior I know only with an empty baterry... :con?
