If I was without anything at the moment, and I had the choice, I'd go P800 for the following reasons;

GPRS, Good Memory Capacity, Multimedia, Bluetooth, Touchscreen

However, I have a 9210 and am perfectly happy with that for it's keyboard and excellent software.

I miss on 9210 compared to P800 only the Integrated Camera.

I wish for more, but since I have e-internet and a infrared connection to 154K or HDCSD or whatever, it fits my needs perfectly.

I was almost at the point to buy an extra P800 but I stoped. Think about how many software I can buy with those money. And I can buy a camera 2.

9210 Is the Most advanced on the market, and I am proud to use it.

what u gotta do to make your decision is to ask yourself this basic question:

Do i need a cool "just the right size" keyboard?
Do i need loads of apps?
Do i hate PALM??
The guys at 9210 forum in AAS... ARE THEY NICE AND HELPFUL???

IF you have a 7650, and you wanna keep it beside the new one, get the 9210i, because the P800 & 7650 is almost the same!

but if you don't have a 7650, in my opinion, get a P800, it's almost perfect 8) , although the 9210i screen is bigger, and it has a full keyboard.. etc

At least get a sample real picture from the P800 before you fall for that feature.

I send a lot of e-mails for work and private, and would not miss out the screen size and keyboard of the Nokia.

Ericssons has also previously been build very badly, but that may have improved.

I do miss Bluetooth for the PC sync.

I think it might be runing a new UI,series 90 i think.

I personally wouldn't worry about a sucessor to the Nokia 9210i ("Hilden" or whatever). If it was announced TODAY we wouldn't see it in the shops for the best part of a year.

I have a 9210 which I've been happy with, but if I was buying now I'd go for a P800. No hesitation! ;)

- 9210/9210i: has a keyboard and neat clamshell design, but now, I must admit, I find it a bit too big in my pocket :-?

- P800: no keyboard, but its much smaller and phone-size-like, and has beter spec :)

I think I've gradually discovered that PDA's / smartphones can't replace a decent notebook PC or Apple iBook for 'real work' (with the exception of a Psion s7 / netBook!). Don't kid yourself - how much 'work' do you really do on your smartphone? Sure I love the keyboard on my 9210 but it just simply isn't something I'd consider doing any serious work on beyond simple notes.

I partially agree with you. If you are often away from your business it is nice to have the main thing always at hand without having to go around with a laptop and cell phone and if you drive you don't have to worry...put your 9210 on your laps and speak normally!!!
