use the data cable provided with the phone...connect it to the pc...and copy your favorite music to the flash memory on your phone...

Better not. This is, for you, just as "simpleas" as possible!

You're best of using something Windows Media Player. Plug the phone in using the USB cable and select Media for the transfer mode (not PC Suite). The phone should be recognised by Windows Media Player and you can copy or sync music to it.

Alternatively you can use Nokia's Music Manager which should be on the CD you got with your device.

Or you can put the device into mass transfer mode when connecting the USB cable and it will appear as a disk drive on your computer. You can then copy stuff across as you would for any other file / folder operation.
