:cry: Anybody have any idea on how to assign own wav file to various incoming alert tone? Of course not the one under Contact>>Preference.
Because in there you can only assign the wav file for incoming call and data call not anyother incoming event such as MMS, SMS.

:-? errr... i'm not so sure what u want but here's how u can set your desired wav to the clock alarm, calendar alarm, SMS and FAX:

1. go to control panel --> profile --> edit
2. at profile settings go to "alerts"
3. choose one for example "Received SMS"...
4. click "change" and the browse to where u have the WAV...
5. now whenever u have an incoming SMS, the wav file will be played...

;) anyway dont forget to set your notification tones to "ON" at "Notifications"

that's also the way i do it! 8)
