My problem is that I cannot connect to my computer using CA-53 data cable and PC Suite (6.81.13.0, old version that came when I got my phone). When I last upgraded my phone I used this old PC Suite version...

I downloaded the newest version of PC Suite to another computer and tried to connect to my computer but to no avail...

Could you please provide OS details and PC details? what you can do is, uninstall the exisiting Nokia PC Suite and also uninstall Nokia Connectivity cable driver, PC Connecitivty solution etc. Reinstall Nokia PC Suite. If needed, reboot the PC and then try to connect your handset using data cable. But please make sure that you have all your data back-uped and i am not sure it will work 100%. This may work or may not work. I cannot assure you :con? Latest version of PC Suite is 6.86.9.3 i guess, Since your handset is a NSeries handset, you can also NSeries PC Suite 2.0 also, which is available from Nokia Site.
