I am wondering how to get the application icons across the top of the standby screen. I can't figure it out. I have gone to tools but do not see settings and I have tried hitting the menu button twice, no luck. Thanks in advance.

Goto Tools/Settings/Phone/Standby Mode

Select Active Standby apps.

It will instruct you in chosing the applications you want to appear.
