I reformatted by laptop (XP) and reinstalled Lifeblog - it was working fine before the reformat, now it refuses start with an error stating that either DirectX isn't installed (it is and updated from MS site) or the graphics card doesn't support it. Well, it supported it before I reformatted! Drivers are up to date (it's a 5 year old laptop with SiS 650 card). I'm not sure what v of Lifeblog I had before, this is v 2.5.
I'd be grateful for any ideas.

Just to follow up, I found the problem, hardware acceleration had been turned off somehow.

If you want to stick with Nokia Lifeblog its ok, but Nokia have comeup with Nokia Photos which may be a replacement for Nokia lifeblog in the future. If you want you can have try Nokia photos also. It has come up with the latest versions. If you want to download nokia photos from the following site of nokia's
