Anyone got a statistic on this? I can have a guess from the oft-quoted 'size' in various reviews by adding about 30%, but has anyone seen it listed anywhere. I read quite a few reviews but nobody seems to be saying.

Well, unless I'm going blind, it certainly does not. Like most sources, it quotes the 'slide closed' dimensions.
Tim
Ok... now itīs clear! Well itīs not hard to guess the open dimension... but for sure, wait for the firsts reviews.

I accept that it's not hard to guess, as I said in my previous post, but it was just interesting that this data was not out there somewhere.

Tried that - no response - it seems to be a 'collect questions for some possible review in the future' type arrangement there.
It's not important - I can guess, as we've said. Sorry to have raised it - thought the answer might just be obvious and forthcoming!
I'll get my ruler out and go back to sleep..!
Tim
133mm roughly (measured approx with a slightly dodgy ruler)

Thank you Rafe. Most helpful. That actually sounds really good given that it's 'that much longer' when open than the E51 which I have in my grubby mitt. I think that will make a significant difference and is much more attractive a proposition than all the other released stuff of late. I am a great fan of the E51 but have always thought that it's just been a tad too small, length-wise. Hopefully if you have one in *your* grubby mitt, I'll expect some sort of opinion soon, but from what I read so far, it looks good. The final step for me would be an identical spec in a flip-format.
