Hi,
I'm new to the mobile market despite working in IT.

This is my first post but looking at all the content and questions on this site it won't be my last.

I had a look around the web / shops I wanted the Nokia N71 but got confused when confronted with the E71. They look the same. :con?

Can someone please tell me if the two phones are the same or not? and what is the difference between the Nokia NSeries / ESeries phones?

Thanks,

The N71 is nothing like the E71 in look & feel (they don't look a like at all; the N71 is a fold/clamshell type, and the E71 is a monoblock with "QWERTY" keyboard):

Nseries are originally of the "Multimedia" division of Nokia, and the Eseries are from "Enterprise Solutions" division. There are some form-factor differencens, and then differences in what applications are preinstalled with the firmware, or otherwise available.

You can also go to http://www.nokia.com/products and do side-by-side comparison of phone models.
