View Full Version : Run out of memory.

Hello.

I need some help with jpg's.
Every time i try to copy a jpg from my pc to communicator everything is ok until i try to open it, if its bigger than 100k a message occur:
Run out of memory.
I have +- 2Mb free in C: and 8Mb in card.

memory is not disk space... it means that you've ran out of Ram memory.

JPG files can consume loads of memory, I would advice you to use Switcher or Appman to close as many apps and free up Ram that way.
Try the jpg again ... if it still doesn't work try it directly after a reboot ... if it still doesn't work .. well than the file is just to big ;)

It impressed me!!!For the moment I'm ok with switcher,but I don't hide you that my next purchase could be app man... :D

not really ... stacker will only affect the diskspace used...

Ram usage will still be the same (if not more?)

Stacker helps you to have more space on Memory by compressing apps or stored info.

For RAM the AppMan from symbianware is great. It can be runned from a specifed time to time automaticaly, to defrag your ram, Is Great :angel:
