my Phone sometimes restart by itself when i opening the messages from the phone display not the pda

but when the phone is restarted and i opened the pda screen it;s also restarted for no reason

why this happened ???

is this because i always close some apps with switcher ???

cos i just found problem if i close the "You Have : 44k" in swithcer i will never hear a tones for messages if i got one

and what apps should stay be opened ????

The 'you have' is there for notifying the user about new text messages, alarms and any other notifications. i dont think this should have a direct link to you're phone switching off. The main apps that should be running are, " desk, telephone and you have". what f/w have you got.

I think it's just how the 9210i behaves...

Well I think the 9210i has behavioural problems, like a mind of its own! It should be told what to do not do what it wants to do without authority of the owner! :x

This is a common problem with the 92xx phones. It usually happens to me when I've been playing Civilisation for over an hour and not bothered saving the game. :( I'm not sure if it is a firmware, software, or hardware bug as there seems no patteren to when it happens, at first I thought a buffer overflow when large amounts of RAM are used, but it's also happened when I've had barely anything running.

I think starving it of battery power will teach it a lesson!

ya, or better yet do not charge it, use your spare phone but make sure your 9210 sees u putting the SIM into your spare phone, that'll teach it a lesson ;)
