GPRS T-Mobile US Help!
I have a Nokia 3650 running 2.4 with T-mobile service in San Diego.

Can someone tell me step by step how to configure my GPRS Settings?

I have looked everywhere ie "howardforums", "allaboutsymbian" and here and cant find answers and t-mobile doesnt SEEM know anything.

Here are my current settings

When i try to use the Doris Browser using the above connection it says:

Try duplicating those settings on another GPRS access point but this time have the gateway as 0.0.0.0 and connect with Doris on this setting.
Normally does the trick...

Best :)

Or that you are trying to use GPRS WAP. And doris browser wont work with it.
You must set up a GPRS internet connection.

when I first setup GPRS on my Nokia 8390, I just called T-Mobile tech support on the phone, and they told me all of the settings. I have them written down at work, and don't have it configured on my 3650 yet, so don't have any more information.

But just give them a call - they were really helpful for me. The settings are the same for any GSM phone on T-Mobile, so they aren't hardware specific.

Just remember to tell them it's for WEB access and not just WAP ;)
There is a difference..

I've had much less luck with T-mobile with my 3650 -- they've been very unhelpful about giving me support. T-mobile Wireless Data Group and Nokia Tech Support bounced me back and forth half a dozen times. Anyway, the settings that both t-mobile and Nokia ended up gaving me, which don't seem to work at all, were:

Data bearer: GPRS
APN: Internet2.voicestream.com
Gateway: 216.155.165.50
Homepage: wap.myvoicestream.com
Server address: getmorespeed.voicestream.com
Server port: 8080

When I attemt to use this, I just get timeouts.

Does anyone know what might be wrong with those settings?

I shall try the settings that Grizam gave and see if they work any better, but I am a bit confused why they are so different.

I have T-Zones on my 3650 here in Washington DC, and it works fine. Here are my settings as outlined by T-Mobile:

Data Bearer: GPRS

Access Point Name: wap.voicestream.com

User Name: None

Prompt password: No

Password: [Change nothing here]

Authentication: Normal

Gateway IP address: 216.155.165.50

Homepage: http://wap.myvoicestream.com (don't forget http://)

Connection Security: Off

Session mode: Permanent

And those settings work for me. Make sure you have T-Zones activated on your account, or none of this will do anything at all.
