View Full Version : question about formating Ismail 20-03-2003, 03:53 PM hi if i use the *#7370# will it format my phone and it will be just like i bought it or will i have to install the main programs again? thanx :black: :black: :fadein: :fadein: daniatt 20-03-2003, 04:29 PM Yes :) JyriK 20-03-2003, 06:54 PM It will be exactly the way it was when you bought it. toddwess 21-03-2003, 12:05 AM how long should the hard reset take? daniatt 21-03-2003, 03:03 AM Hard Reset will take few minutes only (depending on how much files will be remove). fearce 29-03-2003, 03:08 PM wow i didnt knw tht thts a bit risky aint it dont tey prompt u again 1st to make sure u aint somehow pressed them keys accidently? lol daniatt 29-03-2003, 03:37 PM :D that's why stay off of in viewing Memory manager if no plan to format. ;) fearce 29-03-2003, 05:31 PM seen :) 29-03-2003, 05:51 PM Just make sure you have lots of battery! Also plug in the charger on the phone just in case you run out of power. Cause the phone needs power to format, and if it loses all of it, before finishing the format process. your phone will start screwin' up! :D (atleast that's the way it is with the 7650, same with 3650 for sure) daniatt 29-03-2003, 06:58 PM :) yes it is the same. It happened to me once.. I reformatted the MMC (I didn't realize the battery has only 2 bars left)... Luckily the 3650 is not screwed :D ... after turning on the phone, 1 bar left then I checked whether the MMC has been formatted .. :( its not or maybe incomplete... I recharged first then continue the reformat  fearce 29-03-2003, 08:05 PM so ur saying nothing was effect badly? |
