New N-Gage Game: Crash Nitro Kart
 
Nokia have announced the forthcoming availability of Crash Nitro Kart from Vivendi Universal. The game is a cartoon style 3D kart racing game. You can shadow race in the N-Gage arena or play four player over bluetooth.

Emperor Velo and the entertainment-obsessed aliens of his empire have kidnapped Crash and his friends to race in the Galactic Circus! But they won’t be alone, because he’s also nabbed Dr. Cortex and his cronies.

Faced with the threat of Earth’s destruction, both teams submit to his whims. Dr. Cortex and his team of evil plan to defeat Velo in the final showdown and return to Earth as its conquerors. But they’ll need to get past Crash and Team Bandicoot, who are on a mission to thwart Team Evil - and return home in time for a nap.

First ever wireless head-to-head play via Bluetooth for Crash Bandicoot


Nokia and Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) today announced Crash Nitro Kart(TM) for the N-Gage game deck. The new game will transport users to the Crash Bandicoot® world where multiple players can go head to head with the freedom of Bluetooth wireless technology on the N-Gage platform. Crash Nitro Kart on the N-Gage game deck ushers in one of the most advanced 3D Kart racing worlds ever developed for a portable gaming device, delivering connected, over the air features through N-Gage Arena.

Crash Nitro Kart delivers a fast paced kart racing game with new 3D technology available only on the N-Gage game deck. Crash Nitro Kart is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2004.

well, if those screenshots are anything to go by, we may have quite a good game on our hands.

Colours are rich, interface looks sharp -- lets just hope that the tracks and controls are up to standard too.

Multiplay for this game is a necessity, if one game needed a Bluetooth multiplay option, a battle/carting game like this would be the top choice.
