a question about infrared on n80

i am not asking about any remote control programs.

what i want to know is, IS there any program for the n80 that use the infrared.

i am looking for a program that can record infrared and then play the signal back, using a n80

like some PDA's can

thank you

A remote control program then?
What else would you use it for?

They have been working on that damn remote control forever now, the only thing i know infrared was good for was sending small pictures to other phones.

about I.R update

i dont care about tv remote.

all i wanted to know was IF any one here knows about any such program that if you enter a number it will send it, or a program that can record other infrared devices.

with my pda, i can enter my car key code in and open my car.

i dont care for a tv remote.
by time they do write one, the n80 will be a old as the 3310.

I really don't know why it's taking so long to someone develop such application...
It's very useful... even a TV Remote would be nice.
A program that records infrared would be even better!

I agree. I still have an old Tungsten T3 that uses a program NoviiRemote that works very fine with my TV and can record also IR signals.:icon14: Does anybody know the strength of the IR signal of the Nokia N80 :con?
