hmmm, mine does :) 3GB+ mkv's with 5.1 AC3 sound and 720p h264 video..

The only limitation I can think of is the N8 only supports FAT32 which has a 4GB file limit.

The mkv support seems okay...

I dont know... I just have a belief that the inbuilt email client on any phone is as important as any other core component...

The N96 has hardware-accelerated video decoding and it seems it is much more forgiving over the resolution/bitrate/profile.

The N86 is very sensitive to video format (as are other Nokia phones)...
