well, having bought and sold the Desire, certainly for me UI does not make up for lack of hardware.

But at the same time, there is no point having great hardware if you cannot use it as intended....

I sold mine on ebay, but when I got the n97 I sent my n95 to mazuma, it had chunks missing from all the times I had dropped it! But they paid up no prob. As long as it works there won't be an issue....
