Foreign language support on my phone

My N70 is a regular UK phone, but I'd like to be able to see Thai text on my phone when browsing Thai websites. I've installed the Asia/Pacific version of Opera 8.01 from the Nokia site but I'm still getting little boxes where the Thai script should be. I'm thinking that either 1) It's not possible to do what I want because my phone isn't from Thailand/Asia and the fonts aren't there, or 2) It is possible but I have to get some fonts/software from somewhere.

Has anyone managed to do anything like this?

Cheers,
Poldie.
