help with Chinese for 9290

You guys are my last hope.

I would really love to be able to send and receive SMS in Traditional Chinese using my Nokia 9290 when I get back to the US. I've been told by Nokia that 9290 does not support Chinese. I'm not sure what that means technically. I don't want to believe that that's the final answer.

I'm here in China, on my very first visit. I've met people who are very dear to me. I would love to be able to keep in touch when I get back to the US.

So, if anyone have some sort of solution for my delimma, I'd much appreciate it!

Thank you!
