Firmware Revisions for all AXXX(X) Phones

After looking at as many posts as i could find on various forums (this being my favourite of course!) I went in search for a post with various Firmware revisions, much like the sticky post here. BUT when you look at that thread, it turns into a sea of people asking for firmware revisions, and then a post or two later asking how to implement them.

What I was looking for was what the sticky post aimed: for a list of firmware revisions and their accompanying traits - any known bugs, wether they have bluetooth enabled, wether they have IR enabled. etc

So I will start:

I have motorola A920
Release 21.58.01
BaseBand A925_BP_21.58.00
Flex SE8102AXXW8008
AP SE8102AXXW8_007

This is the Flash revision I got when i sent my A920 to "3" for the bluetooth upgrade. It does have bluetooth, it doesn't have IR, it starts faster than it did on the original release. Its pretty stable. I'm not sure if you can install non 3-locked programs as i have enver tried.

Motorola A1000
Release 51.14.15
......... This is the release it came with from "3" - I have yet to tinker, though i have a generic copy of the firmware (Release 51.82.00) which I haven't tried it yet, despite its promises to unlock the phone to motorola's non-network provider settings. I will let you know when i do (should be next couple of days).

-----------------------

This is hopefully the best way to find the most up to date stable versions of Firmware, so if you could post, it would be appreciated.

----------------------

Instead of asking for the firmware versions, look up google and eMule and the hundred other forums online, look hard and you will find what you're looking for.

Apologies if you all think this is just regurgitating the sticky post, I just thought it could be a cleaner version.

Cheers,

Mitch

Mwa ah haaa

motorola A920
Release 30.80.20
BaseBand A925_BP_21.58.00
Flex SE8102AXXW8008
AP SA1362A_002A

Has bluetooth and IR, though i haven't had a chance to test the IR as i have nothing to test it on, will try and download a trial of the remote control program to test it with. Otherwise the only addition to my previous version is the inclusion of a menu in the control panel allowing you to turn the IR on / off and within the "send as" drop down menus there is an IR option (though as i said, i have nothing to test it on)

Still too scared to try and install the A1000 generic revision.

he he

A1000

REL_51.82.00
Baseband A1000_U_2A.43.05P
Flex UIA 1000IOTR342_002
AP A1000_Generic_IR_011

Motorola standard settings, not touched by three in any way (so presumably unlocked, though i haven't a non-3 sim to test it on)

Freezes quite often so far, though i'm not sure if thats because I have restored it to my settings i had prior to this firmware revision, if itkeeps up ill master rest, see if it helps. Also crazily of all the control panel menu options, it wont let me go into the messaging accounts one (which i need to alter to get MMS) - But i can live with that.

Will update any other findings.

EDIT: There is a menu option in the last (general) tab called software update - I've no idea what its for, and when you try to initiate it it restarts the phone.
