I switched from an N97 Mini with custom firmware and lots of speed tweaks to an E7 and it feels like a surprisingly mild upgrade. I can only imagine how much more successful the N97/Mini could've been if Nokia had used a faster CPU and GPU with it, instead of waiting for Android phones to steamroll all over its Symbian offerings.

I still feel the Mini's keyboard is fantastic and it's a tough old thing, even if it's mainly plastic. Ovi Maps is still the best mobile navigation app out there
