charging vs battery run time

Heres a realy geeky question:

I was wondering if the way you charge your battery will influence its run time and over all life.

What I mean is:

if you use the charger that comes with the N95 it outputs 5V at 800mA.

if you use the N80 charger it is 5V at 890mA

if you use the adaptor from the 6630 with the CA-44 plug adaptor it is 5.7V at 800mA.

Is one of these better or worse for your N95's battery?

Thanks!

Hi there,

as the N95 (as any other phone) has quite sophisticated charging circuits, I think there is no difference in the juice that actually hits the battery, regardless, which of the mentioned chargers you use.

Regards,
PM

The circuitry and battery draw what they want or need but from dead will only charge from at least an 800 Mah charger ( some USB ports fall short on this one! ) All chargers will vary over a range of voltages (due to component quality control) and as long as your charger has an output greater than the battery voltage the charge cycle will operate the higher voltage being a quicker charge, BUT, over high voltages will fry the battery. Nominal charge voltage for these devices is 5V.
