The future of the (mobile) operating system

Our very own Rafe is the author of a thought provoking editorial today over on Nokia Conversations, musing over the future of the (mobile) operating system and covering intelligence, location awareness and social nature. Comments welcome if you think he is, or isn't, on the right track!

Read on in the full article.

As always, Rafe's amazing. what I like about his writing is precision. he wants to nail the data before voicing his opinion about anything. He could have made a very good business manager!!

yes, thanks Steve, have left a comment over at Nokia Conversations. I like what Rafe's saying, I think operating systems will become more 'intelligent'.

I'm currently using the beta of Ubuntu 10.04, which has social networking built-in, and I have a feeling this is the way things will stay...

Duncan.

As long as there is not too much dependence on networks and connection, after all these years there's still a long way to go -as the often useless Google maps proves.
