Same here, email received and the charge reserved on my bank account; mine is a black one ordered on the 25th.

Got a email from Nokia 2 hours ago saying that its shipped. I chose the express delivery so hopefully it will arrive in a day or two.

Has anyone else's shipped yet?

I ordered the Black one too, only two days after you. There were probably quite a lot of pre-orders in that week in May though, but hopefully this means I'll receive the email as well very soon.

I hear a rumour, that you can use your order number and add "-01" on the end if they've shipped by UPS as your tracking number.

Meaning, you *may* (not guaranteed) get information before you get the email from Nokia.

Well I wasn't going to order one but finally gave in and ordered it. I wasn't expecting miracles seeing as I've just ordered it but the email reply states:

Nokia UK Online Shop

Order Information
Order #: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Order Date: 17-6-2009
Anticipated Ship Date: 3 to 4 weeks

So it appears that their entire stock has gone. Ho hum.

Not necessarily. I think sjdean discovered a few days ago that this was a generic email that they're sending out to everyone who Pre-ordered the N97, regardless of whether you ordered it four weeks ago or today.

No. Not yet. You probably have a week of torture left as Nokia seem reluctant to give you any information or commit to anything (seems they don't know their own stock, their own systems, and are incapable of any forward thinking or planning or even advising customers on potential dates).

You'll find out when they ship it.

It might not take 3-4 weeks, but you may be in for a little bit of a wait. Those of us who ordered 4 weeks ago are only just now starting to get a sniff of the possibility of them being shipped very soon. There's been no confirmation yet, that it has in fact been shipped, from any regular posters on these forums at the moment. I hope these numbers will rise over the coming couple of days.

I've just tried this, and the UPS (UK) site gave me the message "Not all tracking information is available at this time. Please try again later."

However, if I put in my order number without the "-01" it said "UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later.".

So maybe this rumour is true, I don't know. Since I wasn't given any details, my first attempt could've been for someone else's package entirely.
