When connecting to the web, what’s the difference between connecting by MMS, Mobile Web, and WAP?

MMS is the MultiMediaServer acces point.
Mobile Web is full internet access point.
Wap is useless. It's a restricted data portal which never took off like the networks thought it would. I think only Vodafone and O2 still use it for their proprietry web access for GPRS. Not for the N95!
