Wave codec compatibility with P800

Some time ago I made some tests encoding wave files and I discovered that my 7650 can also play wave files with other (not PCM) encoding methods. Unfortunately I cannot test them on other phones. So could anyone please test? The thread that I created Was:

I want to know if P800 can also play them, although u don't have the memory problems we have, it might be a little useful...

It works !

Thanks very much.

IT WORKS GREAT

I tested it with my wav ringtone and it makes the file from 1.6 meg to 300 k. And the quality loss is very small instead of reduce with pcm and lower rates. :squarewink:

well that's good news, maybe I'll post the same question to 3650 and 9210 forums. It must be compatible with all symbian phones (not to say all phones in the world...)
