Vibrating alert sometimes not working

Hi,

When I'm at work, I often swich my N95 to use the profile "Meeting".
This profile has by default now call sound but vibrating alert is activated.
Now it has happend several times that I missed calles and SMS because the vibrating alert was not working.
I tried it this morning my self and call my mobile from the companies phone. Profile "Meeting" was activated but the phone was not vibrating when the call was incoming.
I changed back to normal profile and then back to "meeting" again. But it was the same result. The vibrating alert was not working.

To fix this problem, I had to swich off the phone and swich it it on again. Now the vibrating alert is working.
I remember that I have had the same problem with Firmware 11.0.0.26 which was pre-installed on my N95.

Some more people here how found the same problem?
Something for Nokia to be fixed in the next firmware version!

Regards
Geraner

Just an idea - was your phone plugged in to the charger at the time? For some reason the phone doesn't vibrate when being charged - it seems to be a design feature rather than a bug.

No it was not.
Just the headset was/is connected to the N95 because I'm listen to some music files. But this doesn't effect the vibrating alert.
Tried it right now, was calling my mobile while listening to music and mobile on "meeting" profile. The vibrating alert was working now.

Even if it is as you say, when you have the charger connected to the phone. Then the vibrating alert should be enabled again as soon as you disconnect the charger from your N95.

I tried to find out what it has to do with. It was not the charger at least.
Today I had the phone on "Meeting" profile. Everything was working.
Then I was connecting the phone to the the charger and charging it for about one hour. During this time I called my mobile 2 times, and as written by randomfan, the vibrating alert was not working.
But when I disconnected the phone from the charger again, (the phone was still on "Meeting" profile", I was calling my mobile again and the vibrating alert was working normally again.

Strange.... what does course that the vibrating alert sometimes is not working?
