'Memory low. Delete some data', is this the C: flash data?

I am getting these 'Memory low' messages at every startup on my N6630. And also I would swear that my phone is running slower than when I bought it.

FExplorer says that I have loads of free space on D:<ram> and E:<disk> but only 476KB (out of 9928) on C:<flash>.

Is this the cause of the messages and the slowness? What can be done?

Thanks for ideas.

You can clean out stuff from the phone memory = C-drive (e.g., move all photos, music, audio files from there to the memory card, the E-drive).

You can also uninstall any apps you've installed in phone memory, and reinstall them on the memory card.

And it is also possible in "Messaging" to change the "Memory in use" from phone memory to the memory card.

See also my

article, which may help, in case anyone's confused at the difference between memory (RAM) and memory (flash, storage) - I know, I know, blame Nokia - they started this 'let's not talk about RAM' thing...

And yes, getting that message at startup just means you need to give the OS some breathing space on drive C....

data, delete, flash, low, memory
