I think my i8510 is dead! =(

Just thought id double check if anyone knows a quick fix before its sent back to Samsung!
The battery went COMPLETLY dead, and on plugging it all i get is a battery empty icon with an egg timer.
I thought i may need to leave it a couple of min before it may charge but hours later and trying other chargers and USB leads its stuck on this little egg timer and empty battery icon.
Is there anyway to reset these or am i best sending back to samsung?

Many thanks!!

Scratch the above, after about 20 times of trying it has started charging.
I think maybe the charging port is starting to go dicky!
Does anyone know if samsung directly need proof of purchase to send it in? (the 0870samsung) i know nokia just work from the imei and dont require it.

That would be a pity. I thought that a more reliable connection was the reason for going to micro-USB instead of mini-USB.
