Experience with mapping / route planning software

Does anybody have experience with using 3rd party mapping / route planning systems on the 9210? Any recommendations for or against any of the offerings on the market?

Primary interest is for the UK, particularly London and the south, but comments invited for other countries also, Europe in particular.

This is partly related to the GPS attachment item for the 9210 posted by 4u2nv. No idea yet how well the integration is going to work, but identifying the best map/route package currently availabe for the 9210 would be a good start.
