Does de-branding also mean sim unlock - i8910

As the title says, if I de-brand an Orange i8910 phone to the unbranded firmware, does this also mean that the phone is then sim unlocked, or would I still need to pay for sim unlock the phone?

No Debranding will not unlock your handset, you will have to pay to get the unlcking code to unlock it.
