Can't send emails

I can receive emails fine and can send them to my personal email address but can't sent them to any other emails address. The error message says there is something wrong with the To CC or BCC fields, but I can't see what that is. Can anyone help me with this it's so weird. Must be something real simple.
TIA,

J

There are some threads about this already. You need to ask the SMTP that your network will allow you to use or if not your networks smtp

Agreed.

I initially tried to use an NTL (cable) email address and got the same but apparently as mentioned, it's not allowed. Once I swapped to a Freeserve account all was fine.
