Early firmware problems

I suggest anyone still on R1B (Maybe later) firmware gets it upgraded soon.

My P800 died at the Expo, it's a simlar problem to that of the 3.12 firmware in the 7650, where there isn't enough of a buffer size left on the phone to run the OS if you fill it, a classic problem is recording until you have no memory left.

Not sure if anyone want's to find out if this has been fixed in later versions by leaving the recorder running on internal memory

P800 should be back sometime this week hopefully

This is really scary,i'm geting one(p800) real soon, and there is no official SE service center here,so i really canot afford sending it back to Germany whenever something like this happens.
Could someone test this with R2D? :black:

This problem is also present in R1D, but it has been fixed in the R2D firmware. It isn't a perfect solution, it is fixed by a bogus file (C:\SlopFile.ini) on the disk of 256 kilobytes, wich makes sure u can't fill the disk up so much that there is no room left for a reboot.
