Notes application - odd behavior

My NOTES application is behaving oddly.

There are many times that I go to delete a single note, but it ends up deleting several and sometimes the name that shows up in the note list is not the beginning text of the note but one that I had created and deleted before.

Has anyone else noted (no pun intended!) this strange behavior?

Is there any way to fix this short of reflashing the 9300 and reinstalling all applications?

If it is just the file with all the notes that is corrupt, try just deleting C:\System\Data\Notepad.dat first (that's where all the notes are). You will, naturally, lose all your notes when doing so.

There is no such file in that location or anywhere else on my 9300 (I used the find function with system files enabled).

Maybe that's the problem? How does this file get created in the first place?
