Mp3 on 6600 - Battery life ?

I know using mp3 on this device is not ment by
the designers, so it'll probably take more battery ?
Can anyone estimate, how much time can I play mp3's (or OGG's)
on the 3rd party apps ? And What about Video Playing Battery time ?

mp3s or oggs shouldn't drain the battery any more than playing standard sound files which are supported by the OS, as they all use the same speaker. The volume you listen to them at will probably also be a factor. I would expect the ratio to be 1:1 (playback:talktime).
If you're using a BlueTooth headset to listen to them, then you can expect a drain on your battery consistent with active BlueTooth connections.

The bottom line is (as you point out), that the phone isn't designed to play large music files. Although it can achieve this, you're probably better off using dedicated hardware for listening to music over extended periods.

I know using the speaker will not last long ...
I was talking abou listening with a doal mono headset
(with the BT off !). In my old 3300 I could hear about 10-11 hours
and with the Ngage about 8, but they was designed for it,
so how much should I expect from the 6600 ?

But the Ngage has uniqe Mp3 decoder hardware, and the 6600 uses the CPU
so wouldn't that take more battery life ?
