The wallpaper should somewhere on the c-drive (use FExplorer, http://www.gosymbian.com/ to locate it; probably an .mbm or a .bmp file). It is not of original picture quality (it has been reformatted for the wallpaper) so it will not be as good as the original was (definitely smaller as the resolution is now only 176x144 pixels).

You can recover deleted pictures from Nokia phone with nokia data recovery program, you may refer to this one: recover deleted files from Nokia phone

The tutorial is easy to follow and works well. hope that it helps you.

There are one and only one way for recovering the lost photos from the digital storage media that is using photo recovery software. If your photos get deleted, formatted, corrupted and lost due to any cause of data loss situations then only an advanced photo recovery software will helps you to recover the lost photos, because it is especially designed to retrieve the lost photos.

I am willing to share one such kind tool , which is Vibosoft card data recovery. You can recover lost photos, video and audio files, no matter you deleted, formatted or lost due to unknown reasons, from SanDisk memory card, as well as other kind of memory cards, this is the user guide: How to recover deleted photos from formatted or damaged sd card.

and other solution: How to Recover Lost Photos from Formatted Micro SD Card

.. then you have to wait if someone knowledgeable get an eye on your ask and post a suitable reply .. but chances of it to happen are very rare
