The original N-Gage Games directory was originally part of All About N-Gage and later Ovi Gaming hosted an updated N-Gage games and new 3rd party games listing. They have been restored from the content database in April 2026. The content is preserved as-is — the page/design branding is simplified for archiving and some formatting, images, or links may not work as originally intended.

Puyo Pop

PublisherSega
ReleaseReleased (2003-10-15)
Poorly converted Japanese puzzle game. A simple objective (connect 4 or more puyos of the same colour) can lead to an exciting game (see the original Arcade Puyo Pop), but the N-Gage conversion is let down by poor graphics and an incredibly small playing area.

What exactly are puyos? Aside from being cute gobs of goo, they are the stars of the addictive game Puyo Pop from Sega. The classic blob-dropping puzzler is back, now on the hottest new gaming platform - the Nokia N-Gageā„¢ game deck. It's raining puyos, and your job is to line up each one with its matching color. Link four or more of the same puyos together, and watch them disappear as your score increases. Go for big-scoring chains and combos, and foil your opponent's grouping strategies by dropping nasty Ojama puyos onto his pile. Four frenetic gameplay modes will challenge even the most talented puzzle champ.
