AAN Review Score ›
An officially licensed MotoGP racing game developed and published by THQ Wireless, featuring ten real-world bikes and circuits from the 2003 championship season. Alongside standard grand prix and time trial modes, the N-Gage version included a track editor — rare for any handheld racer of the era — and four-player Bluetooth multiplayer.
The N-Gage version ran in full 3D with both bikes and track environments rendered in polygons, unlike the sprite-based GBA version released alongside it. Despite this technical ambition, critical reception was damning: the game scored 31/100 on Metacritic, with GameSpy awarding 1/5 and IGN giving 3/10 — among the lowest scores of any N-Gage title. The Xbox version of MotoGP scored 84/100 the same year, making the N-Gage port one of the starkest cross-platform quality gaps in the platform's library. The game was one of THQ's few dedicated mobile efforts before the company wound down its wireless division.
