A 2D side-scrolling action-platformer by Gameloft, porting the GBA version of Rayman 3 to the N-Gage with several level substitutions and an N-Gage-exclusive four-player Capture the Flag multiplayer mode. Players guide the limbless hero Rayman through eight worlds to extract the Dark Lum lord Reflux, who has been accidentally swallowed by Rayman's friend Globox.
Gameloft's port was not a straight conversion: four GBA levels (Swamp of Bégoniax, Magma Mayhem, and their second variants) were replaced by entirely new stages — Ascension, Ly's Punch Challenge 1, Free Falling, and Falling Down — designed specifically for the N-Gage. The N-Gage's portrait screen (176×208 pixels versus the GBA's landscape 240×160) required the game to be substantially reworked, and GBA Mode 7-based 3D stages were removed entirely. Some audio effects and visual details also differ between the two versions. The N-Gage version added a Bluetooth multiplayer suite — Capture the Flag and tag variants for up to four players — absent from the GBA release, giving it a platform-exclusive feature despite being a port. The game shipped in December 2003, shortly after the GBA original.
