A condensed N-Gage port of Volition's 2001 PlayStation 2 first-person shooter, adapted by John Romero and Tom Hall's studio Monkeystone Games and published by THQ Wireless. Set in a Martian mining colony, players control Parker — a miner caught up in a workers' rebellion against the oppressive Ultor Corporation — across 12 levels spanning underground mines, labs, and open Martian terrain.

Red Faction on N-Gage was the first 3D first-person shooter released for the platform, arriving in December 2003. Monkeystone Games was founded in August 2001 in Quinlan, Texas by Romero, Hall, Stevie Case, and Brian Moon — all former Ion Storm alumni — specifically to explore mobile game development. The N-Gage port was their third in-house title. Both Romero and Hall departed Monkeystone the same month it shipped to join Midway Games, where they worked on Area 51's multiplayer; Monkeystone closed in January 2005. The original PS2 game by Volition was notable for its Geo-Mod engine, which allowed real-time environmental destruction; this technology was absent from the N-Gage version. The port received mixed reviews on Metacritic, with critics acknowledging its technical ambition for the platform while noting a simplification of the source material.
