An action game tie-in to the 2004 Sam Raimi film, developed by Backbone Entertainment for N-Gage and published by Activision. The N-Gage version mixes 2D side-scrolling platformer levels — wall-climbing, web-slinging, and Daily Bugle photography assignments — with shorter 3D building-hopping time trial stages.
The N-Gage edition was a distinct design from other platforms rather than a straight port: it featured fifteen 2D levels and four or five 3D stages, with boss fights against The Lizard, Rhino, and Doctor Octopus. Backbone Entertainment, the studio behind the port, also handled the Game Boy Advance iteration of the same film licence that year. Critical reception was split — IGN awarded 7.1/10 while GameSpot gave 5.2/10 and GameSpy only 2/5, landing a Metacritic aggregate of 61/100. N-Gage Arena support was limited to online leaderboards. The game was reviewed on All About N-Gage in late 2004, scoring 53/100.
