Team17's multiplayer artillery classic — teams of cartoon worms taking turns to hurl absurd weaponry across destructible terrain — ported to N-Gage by Paragon 5 and released in April 2005. The N-Gage version preserves the full arsenal of exploding sheep, homing pigeons, and mole bombs across 19 training missions and 25 campaign missions, with local Bluetooth and international N-Gage Arena online play.
Scored 77/100 on Metacritic, with GameSpot awarding 7.7/10 — among the stronger review scores for an N-Gage title of that era. Pocket Gamer later included it in a retrospective list of the 20 best games on the platform, covering both N-Gage 1.0 and 2.0 versions. The main criticism across reviews was that the game offered little beyond what Worms Armageddon had established years earlier, though for N-Gage owners it filled a genuine gap in the multiplayer catalogue. Worms World Party had originally launched on Dreamcast, PC, and PlayStation in 2001 before accumulating further ports; the N-Gage version arrived four years after the original release, developed by German studio Paragon 5 rather than Team17 themselves.
