Phone Used For Review - Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (games may be different on different phone models)

Gameplay - This is a brain training variant, featuring twenty-four mini-games which can be played individually or as part of an intelligence test. Only four mini-games are available at first, with the rest unlocked by doing well in the open ones. The mini-games typically involve clicking on one of two choices such as yes or no, left or right etc, but the skills required for each puzzle can vary a great deal (for example one game involves getting through a maze while another involves squashing a ladybird hidden under a leaf). There's a league table and 25 achievements to unlock.

Graphics - Simple but colourful and varied. There are some fun backgrounds and the main puzzle icons are clear and easy to interpret.

Sound - A single MIDI tune which is okay but gets annoying after a bit. It would have been nice to have a bit more variety in the tunes on offer, maybe a different tune for each category of puzzle or something like that?

Multiplayer & Online - None.

Overall - Nice solid brain trainer, the games demand many kinds of mental skill including memory, observation, co-ordination, intuition and above all quick thinking. Don't let the simple controls fool you, you'll have to concentrate hard to get the top scores on most of these puzzles.
