Ovi Gaming Review:

Phone Used For Review - Nokia 5800 XpressMusic (game may be different on different phone models)

Gameplay - Not really a game as such, but not really an application either. Fridge Magnets Touch lets you share a virtual fridge door with strangers from around the world using your phone's internet connection. You get a limited set of letter tiles which anyone can move around the screen, allowing you to communicate with others albeit in a rather weird way. There's nothing to identify who is moving the tiles, so you may see some rather obscene messages and other such activity. This is NOT an application that is suitable for children.

Graphics & Sound - Fairly basic straightforward letter tiles, with no sound at all.

Multiplayer & Online - Fridge Magnets Touch is online-only, so you will need some kind of internet connection on your phone to play it (either Wi-Fi or phone network). The multiplayer aspect is what makes this so fascinating and creepy, as you can just sit there and watch words and phrases spontaneously form themselves from random letters.

Overall - It's difficult to give this a score because it's such a strange beast! As one reviewer commented on Ovi Store, this is like a mobile phone ouija board, with absolutely no clue as to who or what is making the words appear out of nowhere. There are some technical quirks (such as the letters sometimes being replaced by "?"), and if a trouble-maker is online they may spoil the general experience, but as freeware Fridge Magnets Touch is definitely worth trying at least once.

Ovi Gaming Score - 60%
